Vincentennial: A Halloween Tribute to Vincent Price (with Victoria Price)!!!!!

There Will Indeed Be Freaky Fun for Everyone this weekend!
And I'm not even talking about Trick or Treating... This in from the fine folks at Terror In The Aisles-

The Vincentennial: A Halloween Tribute to Vincent Price (with Victoria Price) is playing Chicago, IL October 30, 2011! That's right, THIS weekend! Here's the skinny on the scary- you'll have two opportunities to see Victoria Price and the Pit and the Pendulum animated short, ON THE SAME DAY! First off, the day starts early on October 30 with a show at the historic Portage Theatre:

The Ultimate Halloween Event! Fun For All-Ages!
1pm - Doors Open.
Meet and greet with Victoria Price. Free autographs & picture taking with Victoria in the
lobby. She will also have beautiful posters that you may buy at the show.

2pm -Victoria Price Presentation
VICTORIA PRICE, Author of Vincent Price: A Daughter's Biography displays a wonderful presentation on Vincent Price (including never before seen photos and videos).

VINCENT PRICE DOUBLE FEATURE & PRESENTATION:
Ray Harryhausen Presents: THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM animated film

2:00 pm - THE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (80 mins.)

3:30 pm - VICTORIA PRICE Presentation and Q & A
on the life and career of VINCENT PRICE! (60 mins.)

5pm - THE LAST MAN ON EARTH (86 mins.)

FREE AUTOGRAPHS & PICTURE TAKING WITH VICTORIA PRICE!
There will be free autographs and picture taking with Victoria in the lobby! She will also be selling special Vincent Price memorabilia.

VINCENT PRICE CHARACTER COSTUME CONTEST!
Come dressed as your favorite Vincent Price
character and win prizes.
Tickets are $13 pre-sale. $15 at the door - day of show.

Second show is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM, Sunday October 30, at the historic Genesee Theatre in Waukegan, IL-- gorgeous theatre for a great tribute! Screening will be THE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL, with The Pit and the Pendulum animated film opening the evenings activities!

Check this theatre - Gorgeous! What a great place to see Victoria Price and Vincent Price. Awesome.

'The Raven' actor and Director visit Poe's Grave

In an honorable gesture befitting Mr.Poe on the anniversary of his death, Film director James McTiegue (V for Vendetta, Ninja Assassin) and actor Luke Evans (Clash of the Titans) visited Poe's grave site. While there, the two laid a wreath for Mr. Poe.

As you may know, McTiegue's feature film, The Raven-currently in production- is set for release in May, 2012, starring Luke Evans and John Cusack as Edgar Allan Poe. Fantastic!
