The PIT & PENDULUM to screen @ VIDEOLAB - PORTUGAL!

APRIL 18, PORTUGAL;
If you happen to be in PORTUGAL on the 18th of this month, you'll be in for a treat as PROJECT VIDEOLAB is hosting a very cool, multi-media event in honour of my main man EDGAR ALLAN POE's 200th birthday anniversary!
Now isn't that just the coolest thing?
Head over to the blog (in PORTUGUESE, wouldn't ya know) and have a look around. It's all good stuff and the poster art for the various events is nothing less than outstanding. For this portion of event in particular, head on over to the VIDEOLAB website and check up on the brief but informative blurb about what All is in the Works for the Day. Or, you can read the official word below:
"- In Celebration of the 200th anniversary of the American poet Edgar Allan Poe's birth, in Partnership with "Alma Azul".
The main activity of the project - Videolab screenings - can take different forms, besides the film projections: debates, presentations, workshops, conferences, exhibitions, installations, multimedia shows, etc." See the show at the Gato Vadio Cafe-Bar.

Should you manage to be around for the show, we'll be screening our stop motion version of THE PIT AND THE PENDULUM!

In keeping with the spirit of multi-media, I'd like to remind (or inform) you all we've got the COMIC BOOK flying out the door like flaming rats! For your own copy of graphic goodness, pick up a copy from the fine folks at BLUEWATER COMICS and Things From Another World Comics.

This summer I'll be selling a very limited edition of the OFFICIAL PIT AND THE PENDULUM T-SHIRT for the film, with graphic design art by GHOULISH GARY PULLIN (art director of RUE MORGUE MAGAZINE). Pretty neat stuff, so be sure to check it when you can.

We've got more screenings coming your way this season, as I just got word of a slot secured in the KALAMAZOO ANIMATION FESTIVAL in Michigan, as well as a screening with a bevy of POE films at Toronto's own LUMINATO Film Festival, at the National Film Board.
I'll be posting more info on shows, appearances and news as it rolls in. 'Till Then,
Excelsior!
Marc
