Madrid, Spain:
ALCINE 39 International Film Festival is screening a pile of pretty cool Poe Productions as part of their De Poe a la lune film program in early Nvember, 2009.
Ray Harryhausen Presnts: The Pit and the Pendulum will be screened alongside other international adaptations of classic Poe tales, including The Raven, William Wilson, The Black Cat and the Tell Tale Heart!
If you've no plans to attend the festival, do yourself a favour and creep on over to the official ALCINE 39 Film Festival Poe programme here and goggle a moment (if you will) some fantastic film freakiness inspired by the master of the macabre, Mr. Edgar Allan Poe.
